Biography:

A native of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Troy received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 1993 while majoring in English and History. Troy then attended the University of North Dakota School of Law and earned his J.D. in 1996. After two years as a Judicial Clerk in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Troy practiced law in Minot, North Dakota. In 2003, Troy joined our firm and worked in the areas of commercial loan transactions, real estate law, and corporate law, until 2007. In 2007, Troy transitioned to in-house counsel for Wells Fargo & Company in their Commercial Credit Section, where he worked until rejoining us in 2009. Troy is currently licensed to practice law in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. He is a member of the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Bar Association and has been involved with the Wills For Heroes pro bono program through the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Troy and his family reside in New Richmond, Wisconsin. In his spare time, Troy enjoys the outdoors, coaching youth sports, boating and cheering on Minnesota sports teams.
